People for a Vegas meet this year?  Anyone interested?

If so, I would recommend the SunCoast Casino Resort.  They are off strip, however, good prices, good value, 8 baccarat tables last time I was there, not a bad crowd, 75% locals, but some dealers and good people playing.  Not the crowd like the Gold Coast and Plaza Station gets with the obnoxious hard core daily players, etc.  Not the high limit tourist 'out of state' have to win crowd either.

Decent restaurants, bowling, movies, etc.  Any thoughts, interest?

Played well over 36,951 shoes of baccarat since I started playing at B&M USA casinos.

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.

Al, I'm sure you are mistaken.
I have a place very close to Suncoast and Rampart casinos and I'm very familiar with both premises.
Suncoast casino offers just one baccarat table being almost always empty. Rampart casino has two bac tables featuring a very calm action on most days.

Of course it would be a great pleasure to meet us.

I was there twice last year.  The baccarat tables on both aisles at the very end, which would be the western end.  At the 24 hour cafe side.  Not the Dupar's Pancake house, their in-house cafe that is.  At least three on each aisle, some mini and midi.  I am positive, if not 4 it was 3 on each.

Yes SunCoast, midway between the strip and Red Rock Canyon, Red Rock Resort.  Just south of Spring Mountain Road.  And Rampart is just behind the SunCoast if I am not mistaken.  Have not been in there for years, like 5 years ago into Rampart, with the long drive that looks like a California condo entrance, if I recall??  I didn't really play, i was there to see my attorney and that is where he put me up at.

I have some pictures on my other laptop, will post later, could have been another non-strip property??

I called someone else and i have a feeling i got the Orleans and the Suncoast mixed up.  My attorney put me up at both of them several times last year.  I think the bac tables I am thinking about, at least 3 on each aisle and the opposite side was another 3, i do believe, was at The Orleans because one of the pictures of the bars I have, has alligators on each end--on the canopy of the bar.

Yep.
In the last 8 months I've been at Suncoast casino at least a couple of dozen times and never seen more than one (empty) baccarat table.

For that matter in Vegas area the most crowded bac tables in descending order are:

- Gold Coast
- Palace Station
- Rio
- Bellagio high stakes room
- Palms
- Lucky Dragon

Venetian was used to get a quite good action but they moved their bac tables into the high stakes room lowering the frequentation.

Not surprisingly the most action is placed at Vegas Chinatown surroundings (GC, Rio, Palms, PS), being the high stakes Bellagio room the most frequented in Vegas.

The second most frequented Vegas high stakes bac pit is at Caesar's Palace but get away from it.

Yes pretty much.  Changed from the past 5 years for sure.  Bellagio always busy to a certain extent.  But it is a love hate there in the high limit room.  Are there still all the $25/$50 to $5,000 or so tables outside the high limit off the rear side by the buffet?  Have not been there since 2015.

C.P. we have lots of time logged there and the only reason we used to go so much was the old schools pit people and the great dealers.  But gain, might have changed.  The property is a love hate, too big and impersonal.  Huge walks and i mean huge!  Great food but that is really anywhere in Vegas. Never a real problem the floor and the dealers did not know how to handle at C.P. and i mean they handled every one and real problems, unlike the Bellagio!

Been tot he RIO plenty and yes, while we were going there, more action action by far outside the high limit for bac than in high limit, but okay all around, just not the greatest location and for some reason, their comps their are really two types IMO one for the RIO regualrs and one for the other CET players which you get less at the RIO then anywhere else in the CET chain, at least that is the way it used to be?????

Gold Coast and Palace Station, I know all about them, super busy most times.

I don't like the Palms.

Been in and out of the Lucky Dragon when it first opened.  I do have a great contact there.  Didn't really play it was totally empty.

Have a couple great contacts at Red Rock and Tropicana still and each has a couple of tables, little action outside a weekend but if I go with a couple or a few players, they are good all around properties to play and have fun at, meaning dining, spa, cabanas, etc.  A lot less action than all the big mid strip stuck up places, etc.

Planet Hollywood used to be a great all around place with action when they had the original high limit room out by the exit to the strip side doors. but then they moved it in the middle of their noisy main floor and took ages to build the walls around it, they lost all their business as far as I know.  Prior to 2014 that is.

And The Mirage used to have so much bac action with their dedicated high limit separate room next to their regular high limit room.  Then they merged them together and supposedly made a new slot high limit VIP room or something where the long time original bac room and the private saloon bac rooms were at?????

Bellagio: yes, they have a $25 or $50 minimum table just outside the HS room.
No fun there, you can't squeeze the cards and due to the low action you have to bet almost every hand. A sure recipe for disaster.
The Bellagio hs room is quite appealing instead. Once to check their drinks offer I ordered a very rare Oban whiskey. I got it and waitress showed me the bottle. Here the service is excellent and employees but one stupid asian female are terrific.

I don't like to play at Caesar's Palace. The only remarkable thing hs stakes room has is the marvelous bathroom. For ther rest I found there the most stupid players the baccarat universe knows.

Rio is a good place to play bac, six live tables plus the Theater. Good drinks service, decent comps. Many L.A. players like to play there and for unkwown reasons I almost always emphatized with many of them.

Gold Coast and Palace Station at a lesser degree collect people that I name "low end bac players". No smiles, no empathazing even after a collective long string of positive bets. Screw you, guys.

Palms is a more attractive place to play than the above premises. More controlled games in a quiet environment, generally players wager moderate-huge sums.

At Lucky Dragon I'm considered as a valuable customer (lol), sending at my Vegas address a lot of free dinner coupons and so.
Good environment but the food is horrible. Really horrible I mean.
Sometimes a simple burger is the best thing to eat but they don't have it.

Red Rock is one of the most elegant casino in Vegas. Few tourists, a lot of locals living at nearby Summerlin, one of the best Vegas districts. Just a couple of bac tables, mainly empty.
Great food here, awesome drinks. I mean free drinks.

At Venetian and Wynn you can't touch the cards at some tables even if you bet $300. Anyway their comps are formidable.

Encore features a lot of bac tables (I forgot to mention this casino on my previous list) along with the first baccarat theater ever set up in Vegas. A very good choice to put at risk the money, imo.

The Mirage HS room provides an excellent overall service, parallel to the Bellagio's one.
Ask to get the most rare drink you know and you'll get it.

A final note: if you have to play in Vegas join some HS rooms: you'll be treated like a king and for every bet you'll make you know to lose $1 or so (almost always minimum bet is $100).

I looked at the pic and yes I was thinking of the Orleans with the six or eight tables.

Here Asym, these are the pictures.  Has to be from Orleans, even the paper place mat at the cafe sure looks like it says 'Orleans' on the side.  I got mixed up between the two, my attorney put me up at those two since his office is on the west side.  I played about 1 hour tops at the Orleans, can't even remember the SunCoast floor.
