Title: For those of you that place Bac in B&M casino prior to 2005
Post by: alrelax on May 15, 2018, 07:05:32 PM
Just wondering. if any of you that played baccarat in B&M Casinos back prior to 2005 or so, have you physically noticed these days how--the majority of the players continually playing for the 'cut', 1's and 2's refusing to wager with any streaks of any type--meaning no repetitive winning the first one and just pull down the consecutive wins, losing only the last one when it actually does 'cut' on its own?  Also the score card thing with the scoring vertical instead of horizontal, which at least in the USA at the majority of casinos around it was virtually never done or very few players would ever do it.

To myself, I visually see it with predominance as compared to pre-2005'ish or so.  At least at all the places I play anyways.

IMO, all the change came about with the introduction of the Midi/Macau style tables and the elimination of the 14 players/3 dealer big tables that started in the early 2000's.  As well as the proliferation of the internet?  Maybe?

Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Connecticut, etc., and some of the parts of the Midwest is what I am familiar with along with Seminole in South Florida but they really didn't get their tables until after 2008 anyway.

The list as far as the betting minimums and maximums is not entirely correct but it can be used as a guideline.

About the same for me too.  The only diff I notice is that there are more non-Asians playing.  Early on I was just about the only non-Asian amongst dozens of tables.  A lot more non-Asians particularly outside the metro areas.

Also, I still am one of the few who use the card vertical.  My belief is that vertical users have basically been influenced by the many systems born by ECD and derivatives.
