Quick thought and comparison on"Vision" with short term versus long term in baccarat
Vision is everything in baccarat. Your vision to wager, your vision to maintain proper frame-of-mind, your vision to employ and go by a rock-solid money management system, and many other visions the player needs to have and maintain in order to gain advantage when wagering.
People say "short-term" and "long term" in baccarat. Look at it this way. Short-term is less hands, less play time. Long-term is more hands, greater play time. Short-term is much easier to walk away a winner if you won and much easier to loss less money if you always buy-in and risk the same amount of funds when you play than long-term play.
It is the same as running at absolute full speed for say a "? city block" length versus a "5 city block" length as well as a third distance, which would be a 15 city block length.
Your times will be longer with each stretch. But not only will your speed will be slower, you will also be a bit more run down. A bit more fragile. A bit less attentive. Considerably more tired. More susceptible to injury and burn out as well. Possibly not getting injured but you sure increase your chances of risk.
Same with baccarat. The more hands and the longer you play--the greater negativity's can and will happen. Not maybe but definitely. The same as running at full speed for 1 minute versus 60 minuets, etc.
Great analogy! Maintaining discipline is something every gambler can always take a lesson on. They always say the longer you're in the casino, the more chances you have to lose money. As you stated waiting for the right time to place a wager is great advice. I still have a hard time with that one. Most everyone will try and bet every single time while looking for patterns and most times fail.
Yes absolutely I agree kind of like donut and coffee in the morning when there's a blizzard coming trying to plan out the month what days to go to the casino and whom to go with and what to risk as a buy in each time while watching something really good on TV on a like the movie Speed or the movie Die Hard or the movie original one Gone in 60 Seconds not the remake. We could also throw some Clint Eastwood movies in there like Dirty Harry and all the rest of them.
