If you play at resorts world queens, drop a line here
Playing baccarat at resorts world nyc for 4+ years. No complaints from me. Clean and convenient joint with a very respectable Asia clientele for the most part.

agreed
do you play the electronic video or the one with the real cards? real card is $15 minimum i believe?
i am on the island 30 minutes away
I play exclusively on the machines with the cards being dealt. I make it a habit on checking to see that the cards are being dealt out and that the machine is not "running in virtual" mode. There are 8 decks in play And the cards are reshuffled after approximately 6 decks are played out. I strongly believe that the cards are in no way prearranged. (I can't state that as fact)
I'm about 11 miles away from the joint. A real easy ride and very close to parkway.

Sounds like with so many states expanding their gaming laws + time = money = no longer the traditional Vegas/ Atlantic City gaming model.
They always have crazy things there lol
Fun nights out there.
Recently added video blackjack
If its computerized decks and random playing basic strategy should be fun
I like playing at the resorts. It's 10min away from me. I do good there, with patience and discipline. Most of the time you get a good feeling of the next result.
I'm 10 minutes away as well however for whatever the reason and it could be the( non random shuffle ) I'm sure that machine is shuffling the cards BUT it's placing them back in a predetermined set causing the outcome to have a non random result such as those video games like BJ .just by playing the same way I do at the brick and mortar I get such different results so I'd rather drive the 1 1/2 hours to the closest casino SANDS and get a true random result ,the cards there are preshuffled however they are hand shuffled by the dealer before going into the shoe.
Those cards all have chips in them so they can be read coming out and those interbock machines I'm sure can place them wherever they want.

That's
one way the online casinos coud cheat at blackjack if they wanted.
All they need to do is control the last box with a 'dummy' player and that then gives them a better chance of making a strong hand.
Luckily my local casino hand shuffles the cards at Baccarat. It would be interesting to see some of the shoe results from these shuffling machines. We don't have them here in the UK. I was in the 'Crown' recently (Melbourne) and they had the video Baccarat but I never played it. Always better to play live in my opinion if you have the option.
cheers
How many decks are they using?
I visited RW today, and all of their Organic Baccarat machines were switched from real card eight deck shoes, to infinite virtual shoes.
I wouldn't waste a bet on any virtual game.
I'm done with RW.
Do they post stats for a 'synthetic shoe' or have they eliminated all shoe statistics from the screen?
I was there last night. I didn't notice that they werent using real cards

Fully agree. Play a live game only.

They're slick.
They keep a full stack of cards next to another smaller stack under the dome, to make it appear one shoe is being dealt and another is waiting to be dealt.
The machine never moves, and none of the cards is dealt
In the past, when they did that, the tote board would display "Virtual Mode".
Not any more.
I was there a few weeks ago, and half the machines were in virtual mode.
Yesterday, all of them were in virtual mode.
I will check in a few weeks to see if they went back to using the real cards.
Can you please clarify?
- Some describing a non-ending shoe.
- Some describing virtual cards.
I did notice sometimes the shoe isn't moving on the game you are sitting at but the results are coming from another shoe being dealt out at a different machine. .I will check this out further when I return to Brooklyn

^ Thread going straight here. ^
Players in the area should confirm what's really going and when it's determined some players won't care at all, but some will - HA.
How can you not care about it? C'mon, if it's virtual (and I'm quite sure that it is) it is then easily "manipulated" (or, at least, the results can be manipulated). I don't trust it at all, and so I don't step a foot into that place. Call me when you have a "live" game, not some computer-generated nonsense.
Yes, we already have chips in the cards and scanners in the shoe holder. Wait until they can use some type of fast high tech 3D printing to create a card in a nano second. Of course we have gaming commissions watching over everything.
There is no point in gambling if the underlying aspects of the game are arranged in certain ways.
I said it again and I'll say it before, they only cats who whine about supposed "casino orchestrations" are losers and/or system seller, hey hey.
Spot on Soxfan.

There are 416 cards in an eight-deck shoe.
If all of the Aces are dealt from the shoe, you will not see any more Aces for the remainder of the shoe.
With an infinite shoe, the cards are never exhausted.
There is an infinite number of every card remaining at any point in the game.
With an eight-deck shoe, the House Edge changes as each card is dealt.
With an infinite shoe, the House Edge remains constant and is probably higher than the H.E. for an eight-deck shoe.
They could instantly increase the ratio of 2s, 3s, 4s and 5s to increase the H.E for a Banker bet.
They could even change that ratio as you are betting.
If the computer sees that 70% of the people are betting Player on the next hand, the RNG could instantly stack the digital shoe with a disproportionate number of tens to favor Banker.
In a real card game, there could be a mathematical or physical reason for a BBBBB or PPPPP streak.
In an infinite deck game, these streaks would be purely random, assuming the game is random.
In PA, NJ and Nevada, it is.
Be advised, New York State law does not require table games to be random. Only Video Lottery Terminal games are required to be random in NY.
They have a legal right to screw you.
To answer your second question:
Virtual cards are video cards as opposed to real cards.
Whenever I've been to Resorts World I always thought when the machine you're sitting at those decks of cards are not being dealt out the results were coming from another machine nearby. Because I remember the results will coming from the machine behind me and they were using real cards...... either way I do not trust them because those cards have chips in them n they get shuffled unseen and could be put back in any order perhaps they have a predetermined order that had given the house a good result in the past and there's no way if they repeated an order from 3 months ago you're going to remember it
IMO,
