Can anyone write a simple clear explanation of sputniks march : I have read the thread several times. I think I understand it then I look at Egz and Im wrong
it is like any other method out there. works sometimes other times no.......
I believe sputnik knows what he is doing
and i also would love a clear explanation

Beat-The-Wheel explained the concept clearly enough in reply 20 on the other thread.
Think of it like this....you get runs of dozens/columns and one goes missing.
So you might see AACACCCA (B is missing)
133113133 (2 is missing)
So now look at the even chances.
Black/Red/Black = single (series of 1)
BlackBlack/RedRed/BlackBlack = series of 2
BlackBlackBlack/RedRedRed/BlackBlackBlack = series of 3
So the same thing is going to happen a lot with the even chances which happens with the dozens/columns. And that is that one of either single (series of 1) series of 2 or series of 3 will go missing. So you bet accordingly.
Like Beat-The-Wheel says...
Red/Black/Red/Black....these are singles
Then it goes....Red/Red/Red....so now it's went series of 3
So what are you going to do? You have had a single and a series of 3. Now you are going to bet against the series of 2 which is missing.
Black....so if you are going to bet that this can't go to a series of 2, you don't want to see a Black on the next spin, so you would bet Red. If Red comes, it has went back to singles.
It's not hard to understand the concept, I agree it's harder to follow a long list of results if you have not had much practise with it...but that's not Sputnik's fault. He has laid it out for anyone to study.

IMO one's result couldn't be the benchmark for this march's performance. Different player different shoe different result.
I have a new PoV about the phrase "The house always win"
I agreed 100% with that. But, IMO, I see it as "The House" vs "10 players" for instance.
The house wins 8 of them and lost to the remaining 2.
So who you will be? The 8 or the 2?
You may be the 8 today, but the 2 tommorow vice versa.
Also, same approach would be intrepreted differently by different players.
Same pattern would be seen differently by different players.
IMO the best thing to consider is your own result. Winning? Losing? Want to quit? Still want to try?
Is this a hobby? Or is it a business?
I am a NET big loser in baccarat but still think it is beatable. Maybe I am wrong but I would still like to look out for a total holistic approach that can beat the casino. Maybe one day I will give it all up and when I do I will announce and go quietly and not bother those good souls here trying to beat the casinos.
I truly appreciate those who are on this forum propogating ideas and approaches that may be helpful in one way or another and receiving sarcasms for return! Cheers to your humility and patience.

I didn't mean to offend anyone either, but instead of posting results and discussing the live shoes/ results, closing down the topic didn't look good...anyways as you said its upto him..

the topic was closed because people started posted shoes showing the weaknesses and that it will inevitably lose like the others. Some have bigger ego's than others, simple as that really!
If a smart guy like sputnik cannot win consistently (if he did he would be printing cash not hanging out in a forum) then it's a futile attempt for the rest of us. I have tried a lot of methods as have most others here. We always get the same result......
Pit Bosses method is the simplest and one of the better ones I have seen on the internet.....

that's silly ... 3.0 SD don't make your system lose ... i have many times brake even after 3.0 SD and higher.

but 282 spins to just break even? that including commissions? Goal is to win money not break even. anyways, not picking on you or your system. i like it but liking something and have it make me money is 2 different things

My understanding is that this would be an example of a really bad run.
Make a profit on a normal day.............survive on a bad day. :thumbsup:
Although it would be considered a grind........you can also handle very large bets, as the swings are minimal. :applause:
