Thinking about a sentence that describes baccarat, I came up with the title after speaking to a couple of people involved in the commercial end of the casino industry for a long time. I do believe "Tangible mixed with Intangible as well as Variability" describes the game pretty well.
Read the board and you will get a few different versions from a handful of people here. I just do not agree with what appears to be the standard accepted definition of baccarat. Which is, it is purely random, a flip of the coin and cannot be won.
Although, there is not a system or a key-trigger than can win this game shoe after shoe after shoe from property to property to property. Period.
Here is the way I just tried to put a short summation of what I deduced down to someone I was discussing this matter with a few minuets ago.
Please believe me, it is not science, to a certain point it is mathematical and to another point it is not, but it is most certainly a variable one. Meaning if X&Y = Z for 50% of the shoe and then such and such happens, X&Y will subsequently = A. But, not always. And that is what throws and confuses the vast majority of those that play the game. The players see things that happen and most players will think they caught on and they learn something that repeated itself numerous times and they call that a 'key-trigger'. Then, what they learned will stop working to their advantage and work against them. Get the drift? Not one thing, but numerous things.
I tried to write and post certain things and it is very difficult to actually put casino play with all the influential innuendoes, gut feelings from experiences that actually pan out, the same gut feelings from experiences that actually do not pan out, the positive camaraderie that made me $$$ that I wholeheartedly knew I would not have capitalize on and the dozens of other things that are most certainly a viable part of live casino play. Just what happens is most don't write about it or recognize what I have found and/or choose to say it is all in the cards or purely an act of random choice with no other factors entering in. They either don't have the experience or they just simply will not recognize what is not tangible that is very viable parts of the game
Okay the reasoning:
Tangible: Perceptible by touch
Intangible: Not having a physical presence. But and a huge HOWEVER; it does because it is there in baccarat unlike many other things and doesn't have to be made on contingent circumstances because it is there and coming forward without being able to change!
Variability: Range, Mean, Variance and Standard Deviation. That is the non-gaming consolidated definition of the word. Although pretty much spot-on for the gaming end as well!
The better you truly understand the underlying principals to this game the better you will become and obtain that 'gut feeling' that just might not be so much 'gut feeling' after all.
Some of you need to read this, IMO. But only, IMO of course, LOL.
