Title: [Manrique] Do not give me a system, give me a concept
Post by: VLS on February 13, 2013, 09:26:20 PM

While the search is oriented toward a "system" people will remain a Perfect Loser.

Does this mean that the systems are useless? No, but they are only part of what it takes to win.
Like the anatomy to a doctor, you need to know one or more systems, like a doctor needs to know a lot of anatomy to practice successfully. A professional will need to master more than systems to win.

What separates the professionals from the great professionals, is not so much the domain of knowledge, but the approach to implement such knowledge.

Do not give me a system, give me a concept. Always said my great teacher (Nono Santelli)

Manrique.

May I be forgiven if I commit the sin of hubris...............

None of this is mine.................

FLAT gave us the L v F.

D'Alembert gave us his progression.....

Stef and Nick built a bot that uses bot at BV.

This bot has won #800+ units in five or six days with a draw down of #111.  Will it continue?  I think it will.  I don't think it's all luck.  Soon I will fund the BV account with real Euros and we shall see what we see.

Any good concept needs to have consistency as one of the key principles behind it.

I was thinking today that the casino could paint whatever they wanted on the slots instead of the numbers. It would make no real difference really.

A good concept to investigate and study would be different kinds of averages which produce consistency and forget about guessing what the next number is going to be on the wheel.

The wheel and table layout are just eye candy. We all need to dig a bit deeper than that.

cheers.

Everyone (mostly) is writing a "System" without having any "concept" or "logic" in it. That is why all are leading towards one end:  loss.
