Wanted to know if anybody does this or not?........ Lets say you have aquired some stats at the table, past spins etc.
Its now time for a dealer change (shift is done). Do you START OVER with new stats? Completely forget about what you have jotted down.... HOT numbers etc.
If yes, how do you handle a dealer going on break (usually 20 minutes). Would you use the same stats for the relief dealer spinning or WAIT until the original dealer gets back?
If yes, it sure does suck if he/she is hitting your numbers and you have no chips on them. Myself, I have the shift schedules written down (they are a bit different from weekdays & weekends) and I usually plan on starting my play a little after the NEW dealer starts. How many people do that? (LoL)

They change dealers because they know it screws winning systems up , how many times I was winning great until dealer change , guess what after dealer change I loose , it happens all the time. They would not change the dealers every 30 minutes or so if there was no such thing as DS.. There is something to this.. KS..
Dealer change to counter DS . No doubt about that.
From my own experience the best defense against dealer change is by leaving the table along with the dealer.
If someone is limited to one particular strategy, then a reset would be recommended; wait a few spins to determine if the same strategy will work for the new dealer.
On the other hand, if one is skilled in a multitude of strategies, then dealer change has no bearing on the outcome, because adaptation to current events is the key to a winning mindset.
Many would argue that the wheel has no memory and that dealer change has no relevance on the outcome of numbers. It stands to reason that these types of players will all lose, because the house edge will inevitably cause a slow and painful demise.
So, why would anyone with this mindset play roulette or any other game with a house edge?
The answer to the question is, it depends.

Of course you have to change. Each dealer is coming with his or her signatures, making the rolling process unique. this is one of the methods casinos use to keep people from recognizing patterns.
