Last week I got a secret invitation to  anew forum, some others here did too.

I asked the new admin how he selected the distinguished members to join, didn't really get a good reply but was told only people at the top of their game would be there, well, als just arrived so I have asked for my account to be closed, they seem to let ANYONE join.
There's only one way forward, follow random, don't fight with it!

Ignore a thread/topic that mentions 'stop loss', 'virtual loss' and also when a list is provided of a progression, mechanical does NOT work!

I was invited too...but if Albalaha is there, I won't join. If the forum is run by someone weak who can't handle conflict, It won't be long until the forum is modified under his terms as this place now is.

Thanks for the heads up.

Saved me the disappointing reveal

Glad I'm not the only one who's noticed.  ;)

Your learned comment on "attacking the straw man" was perfect.
I heard you eat children too

      I stay anywhere at my own conditions. I can't bear dictatorship or silly comments and do not compromise with the admin or his crew unless it is about rules. If you or your fellow  GM do not like this you may quit this place too.
Al...I'll be frank with you.
I never dislike someone just because others do...I generally try to be nuteral until its personal.
I don't remember having any personal altercation with you.
What I don't like is the circus which is Albalaha. The disruption...the arguments.....and the anger you cause.

iggiv

The circus has left the town, but the main clown decided to stay.

Knew it wouldn't be just me that he provokes the old heckles.

The sad thing is/was that the admin (calls themsleves AK) said they had only recently visited gambling forums to garner the names of what they called experts in the field, good post counts, long sering members etc etc making it 'look' like there wouldn't be anyone 'like' albalabalabba allowed BUT in gathering so called excellent web citizens they allow them to recommend a friend and gave them the authority to just send the invite after they join, who the f&*k in their right frame of mind would recommend that nutter?? wtf, the mind boggles

Most of the roulette forums look to be dying on their feet IMO.

vls=dead
RF.cc=fits and starts
rouletteforum.com=always was a joke and still is
rouletteforumjackpots=dead
paroli.de=dead
betselectioncc=on life support

They all resemble a bad marriage nowadays  :)) Nobody talks and it's usually only to argue.

Sorry I had nothing constructive to add.

I forgot roulette 30 which was bad because Kav has made a good effort in putting together some informative pages. [smiley]aes/thumb.png[/smiley]

Can't be too great if I did not get an invite!

You don't think that this mimic's the tables these days??
My Blog within BetSelection Board: https://betselection.cc/index.php?board=250.0

Played well over 36,311 shoes of baccarat since I started playing at B&M USA casinos.

THE PURPOSE OF GAMING IS TO WIN!

"Don't say it's a winning hand until you are getting paid for it".

Played numerous properties in Las Vegas, Reno, Southern California, Atlantic City, Connecticut, South Florida, The South/Southeast as well as most areas of The Midwest.

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot.  Bac has all that & more.

Yep, you are right alrelax! I was there at 2.00pm today and was just about the only one there.

Around the late 80's when casinos didn't open until 2.00pm over here, you had to queue up to get signed in and then it was a race to the tables, lol.

Hello TCK,

We're shifting Admin's role, not pulling the plug on us (i.e. not shutting us down) :)

This might end up being a more balanced place as a result; instead of every little thing coming to my "admin's plate", it's the community + mods who get to solve things in a more independent & democratic way.

That sounds like good news Vic.

Don't get me wrong! Forums are what the members make them. I can think of loads of times on some of your forums when members were pulling together and there was a good spirit about. Maybe giving people more of a vested interest in how the community is run will create a good atmosphere where people feel more happier to share their experiences and we can put all the petty stuff aside. It's worth the effort to try.  :thumbsup:

Indeed.

BetSelection.cc is "piggybacking" on our software site's server right now.

Our Software's site is subscription-based, so the first bunch of subscribers pay for maintenance, then it's profit. (Unlike making money out of discussion sites, software sites intended to make money are OK)

Off-loading my administrator's duties to mods and members frees me to focus on building great software for everyone in the community to enjoy. The other choice for this transition would have been to simply handle all my admin's powers to another single pair of hands; to be honest, I didn't want us to merely move to have the "new era" for another person to impose a personal will (i.e. the new XYZ admin era). Better for us to make it be the community & staff cooperation era, where members grew mature from past quarrels and police the forum wisely to keep balance. :nod:

Hey! 2015 is just a couple days away, so these are my last couple days as a full-blown admin.

Our first open community-council poll is regarding Albalaha's situation.
