I would like to avoid the smoke and time it takes me to get to and from the brick and mortar casino.

I`ll take the glitter and glitz of a real B & M casino anytime.

The most reputable I have found after going into many forums and reading (and playing at 3) are: 5Dimes, Heritage Sports, BetOnline, Bet Phoenix.

There is only ONE online joint that I would pony up cake to play at, and that is restricted to residents
of the  province of Ontario, hey hey.

thanks smoothie.  do any of these online baccarat games show other people playing live at the table?  I do not want to play one on one with the dealer and I don't want to bet every hand.  I want to be able to see that it is a real casino with real people sitting at the mini-bac tables and I can follow the game and bet when I want.  even to be able to just observe real mini-bac games going on for free, without betting, would be good (or is it not allowed to have live games with other players filmed and streamed on the internet?  I could see how that would be a problem to players who don't want themselves and their betting to be filmed.  I just don't know how I could trust any other situation where I would be betting online....)

mini bac
Plainridge Ma just opened ,,, no smoking ... just automated table games and I don't know what they are... have no idea if your idea works on organic robot bacc machines

yeah I could check it out.  at least my wife won't know right away from the smell of smoke on my clothes that I was at the casino.  the second hand smoke at twin river is terrible.  they are exempt for some reason from workplace health and safety laws that are enforced at every other public place in this state.  if I could watch their games online and bet online, that would be great, but I don't think that will be happening....

upstairs at twin rivers is non smoking- its still smoke infused:)---but no table games.....

You don't see other players at the table but you do see their usernames, their dialogue with the dealers and pitboss, and how much they and you tip the dealers (once saw a guy tip $500 the dealer was freaking lol and even telling the relieving dealer about it),  discrepancies, etc. Of course you see your own conversations with the dealer and they respond to you in real time. You also see a lot of the other tables in the background in action.   If you go on the SBR forum you will see any praises and problems about these casinos on there. You have a lot of consistent winners (and whining losers lol) reporting on there especially with sports betting. You can also bring any complaint to the sbr board and they will file it to the casino in question and try to resolve it for you. It's a very powerful tool for us the casino consumer as I have seen one case in particular where an online casino did not pay out a player about $45,000 because they thought he was using a bot to cheat. SBR team got his payout for him eventually.

You can get an account on black orchid casino for free and practice but US customers cannot bet real money only play money. It's the same bac and roulette table that 5Dimes uses. If you don't bet for about 5 or 6 hands the video will time out on you (just click on it to restart)  and after a few more minutes of non-play it will sign you out for security reasons. Hope this helps.

thank you smoothie.  I will check out black orchid for observation and play money bets, and 5dimes for real action.

This is pretty much what I have done. 5 Dimes has two bac tables as of a few months ago. The one you see on Black Orchid is the same table as on the left of the new table, well your left on the screen (if i remember correctly)  Getting ready to play Heritage soon for the first time soon as I have heard mostly good things about them. I think Heritage and BetOnline use the same live dealers if I remember correctly.  BetPhoenix used to have their own dealers but I think they have moved to the HD live dealers as Heritage and BetOnline. Got my second payout yesterday from the dimes. Peace!
