Many Thanks for posting the above Bally.
Few months ago i decided to close down my two online accounts as i had a nagging doubt that wouldn't go away that something was possibly fishy regarding win-loss ratios.
I'm very lucky that there are two B+M casinos only a mile from where i live.
Since i returned to the old-school way of playing, the profit per session is better than ever thanks to the forums and vertical-matrix.
No more remote play for me.
RNG casinos can cheat you easily, there can be no doubt in it. Most of them operate from remote locations totally untouched by any regulating agency or govt. If you have doubts about RNG, better play with live dealers.

+1 for live.
If you want to ponder suspicion, there's always the question of why do certain casinos known to be rogue with their payouts ban people from live roulette while allowing/inviting those same users accused of having an "irregular game" to their RNG games.

RNG....IS NOT Roulette......it's Mickey Mouse !!
I may as well chime in too!
Just say NO to RNG play of any casino game.
If you must play online, always play at a live table.
If your counter argument is that the RNG game is "faster", then you've got a gambling problem if you can't wait for the normal pace of play at a live table.
Testing with play money doesn't count. That's not for real and it's only for testing, the results of which may be skewed anyway, but for a quick test/check, RNG may be acceptable in the short term.
AD
RNG (be it roulette or any other game) may be rigged or it might not be but when we can opt to play live dealer games which has universal and live results for all, I think we should go for later. I don't play RNGs anymore and do not advise anybody for that too.
I play RNG only for testing customer's bots.
But when i play for myself, i only trust live dealer... 8)
[revealb]... and their magnets! :P :P :P [/revealb]
just some more information which for me finally answers the question of rigged RNGs.

Amazing.
Start-your-casino is still an active operation.
Rigged RNG's have carte blanche with sustainability in time :forbidden:

Seriously, now. Do you believe in the old magnet theory?
If so, are we speaking of attraction or repulsion?

Sam old boy,
Even thought the question is reffered to Norm,I will unswer it instead.
Yes they are using the old magnet theory, but in more sophisticated way these days.
Recently in Malta we detected such table, and earlier on my trips around EU,in many
smaller /unreputable/casinos have come across same,especially,Bulg.Rum.ex Yugo countries,
Hung.Pol.Che.Slo.Slov.and even some in Fran./Corsica/...corrupted..they all get paid.

I would say both

Perhaps.

On the subject of magnets and magnetism.........
One might have a tiny metal implant in a ball that could be used to attract it to a pocket. However, you could never repel the ball. Here is why.
A magnet must have a north and south pole. You cannot have a single pole magnet. If you have a magnet in the ball, you would have to be sure which pole was in the exact proper place for it to repel. You might get + pointing toward the wheel and - in the wheel. The would naturally attract. (Here is an oddity in magnetism: Magnets will always change positions and snap together; they will never change positions to push apart. Think about it!)
If you have no magnet in the ball, you could never repel it. There is only one metal that is diamagnetic--that is to say it is repelled by both north and south poles--and that is bronze. However, the diamagnetic influence is quite small and would never make a ball jump out of a pocket.
Now, if I'm wrong and anyone knows where to buy a single-pole magnet please alert me to the store or website. With a single-pole magnet, perpetual motion is possible.
I could use a left-handed monkey wrench, too! ^-^

Maybe ............just maybe it is possible! :o
[reveal=Almost P.M.?] Its not quite perpetual motion, cause the fluid will eventually evaporate.[/reveal]
Chris
That was mighty interesting and I thank you for it.
Who can see the discrepancy in the flask?
Sam
By the way: I tried that once!!
Interesting vid. There's an explanation of why the flask can't work here (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Perpetual_motion#Overbalanced_wheel). It's nothing to do with gravity (which is what I thought was the cause), but rather capillary action. If the liquid had no viscosity it would work for longer.
I could imagine a very wide (and long) osmosis membrane could also get it to work.
U have just to get the water to go up bank!
I wonder if they have tried a series of extremely narrow capillary tubes built inside the tube that exits the bottom of the large vessel?
I first saw this machine (in video form, not for real) about 4 years ago.
Its the closest thing man has to Perpetual Motion (PM)
Friction and degradation of the magnets is what will eventually stop it, unless the maker can extract useful work out of the machine, and use it to electro-re-charge the magnets.
Frictionless bearings (running in a chamber of mucus hydraulic liquid) would also help.
Or supercooling!
it's a great "Toy/Gadget"
