I play the slots occasionally as chill time and ideally use profit from roulette. I get the feel of a machine quickly and can sense when there is something good about to happen, or not. I used to play a particular bank of similar game machines adjacent to the roulette tables. If say $300 was made on roulette I would try $60 into the machines and would frequently gain small and mid jackpots from $60 to $400.

One bright Monday morning hardly anyone around I put in the usual amount and received a small payout so continued and the major jackpot was triggered + $ 16,000.

Why not if you can find 'favourable machines'. They took my favourites away soon after.

Go for it if using 'free money'.

A serious jackpot win can be a life changer.

Sure. That is the basis on which I proceed also. If it can't work flat staking, there is no way that any overlay can overcome and protect from ultimate catastrophic failure or being frozen out as a flat-liner.

So there has to be at least some positive edge demonstrated after a suitable statistical sample.

I try to build on +10% edges and somehow you have to find that cluster.

Random selection of target numbers alone will not do it in the long term, ie +5000 spins say.

Better, 50,000 spins.

Clumping Theory and knowing when to stop at optimum gain ( in my view 3 hits) is a good start.  WF* Theory in clusters of some 22 spins + 'tendrels' indicates +10%. That is what I have commenced a new thread upon, in order to give a stepping stone. and launchpad.

That is all subject to further key testing of course.

Thanks for this B/Wiz
Funnily enough the link and research following the recent Vegas Dude interest took me to a post and conversation involving MrJ and his 27 sleep street method revealed on VLS Forum*.

It made very good sense as did his recommendations for bank size et al. and earnings per session.

His whole approach is very professional and no nonsense.

So this re-sparked my interest in streets and here we have a very useful idea to follow, so thanks for your presentation.

Will re-check title and date and advise.

Meta-selection / Re: Trigger-packs concept

This is a fascinating concept and one where over views, overlays, and a sort of neural network analogy of interactive responses can be visualised.

Very interesting and will return to this soon.
The whole debate on triggers, effectiveness, and the non-mechanical nature of some triggers, ie consciousness is involved to make some overview decisions - this is so important.

@Ignatus

I believe a Dr Neumann ( or similar) prepared a roulette system for such a pattern phenomena - saw this about 10 years ago. You may be able to access some comment or files. At the time I did not proceed with his approach. Hope this assist your research.

At the risk of sounding even more tedious please refer to my Guru, Maharishi Professor Nassim Taleb, for his further extensive comments and illustrations on Pareto. Like the Golden Mean, The Pareto Principle seems to be one of Nature's Rules, and yes, reaches far into human experience, further shattering the complacency of concrete linear thinkers; hopefully, anyway.

In my favourite Chaos book, Deep Simplicity, it is demonstrated  there really is a point to living just on the edge of Chaos, and oddly Pareto even features there.

On that basis some 40 Forum Members may be the active minority, and the 'tipping point' for conversion to 'Seeing the Pipe Dream' realised may be a modest 10%, say 19 active visionaries, who can demonstrate to the remainder that yes, there is a way forward. Keep a candle in the window.

Meta-selection / Re: CLUMPING THEORY
January 16, 2013, 02:38:09 AM
This is a strong result within 14 spins, and as you state, Zero and neighbours would be a smart bet, subject to review, spin by spin.

Conducting some statistical studies on live spin data, to see the characteristics of this type of bet formation, from the point of signal strength.

Cluster theory often demonstrates a binding force between groups of (say) nine numbers on the wheel.

When the force is strong there are betting opportunities for emerging  clumps of warm to hot numbers from (say) 20 spins onward, but most definitely from 37 spins on.

@JL
You are being a little hard on humanity. Please refer the Pareto Rule which is the infamous but ubiquitous 80:20 ratio which finds its way into roulette as well.

Meta-selection / Re: Clumping Theory

It may be helpful to just bullet point some of the key principles already outlined ( credit VLS)

  • 37 spin cycles ( where there are 37 numbers on the wheel)
  • outcomes will most often demonstrate a 'loaded' area of the wheel (or table)
  • we emphasise short term cycles in roulette as it is in these we find imbalance to help us
  • short cycle may thus indicate a particular column, or dozen or wheel zone or table area
  • short cycle may be 3,7,9,12,18,24,37 spins plus duration
  • avoid betting wheel zones that have no hits in a cycle of 37 spins(or fewer depending on your focus)
  • instead bet within wheel zones or wheel neighbours of 'loaded' areas'
  • filter out sleep zones and focus on energy zones
  • look at 37 spin cycles result outcomes to see outcome pattern distributions
  • get a feel for the spread of characteristics of these patterns
  • then study the process of the outcome forming spin by spin and dtermine where are the trigger points, the critical phases
  • tap into where the loaded zone is forming, starting to clump
  • remember our emphasis on the short cycle nature of roulette to benefit the player
  • observe the formation zones, where a 3 number zone with a few gaps around it can form into a four number zone and then into a five
  • clearly those gaps may be our targets and we can form a suitable trap bet on the table to catch them
  • larger clump zones form from small beginnings
  • note triggers and filters as defined by VLS
  • filter out the dead areas ( yet to awaken) and focus on the energised (awakening areas)
  • note 'awakening' - it is an active process underway which you witness but also can inter-act with
  • the fertile areas and energies activate warm numbers which can be very dynamic and prolific, and these can become ht in short, medium and longer terms ( say 100 spins plus)
  • be aware that in longer cycles of play ( say 50 spins plus) that hot numbers can have sleepers adjacent and vice versa
  • review progress spin by spin beyond 37 spins
  • this can be say 38,39,40 spins, but also a moving fixed parameter window of 37 spins
  • our emphasis for search criterion is 'short term imbalance'
  • study what is formed in the 37 spin cycles
  • study how and where these clumps form - how this involves 'direction', 'signal strength', and study the characteristics of the 'moving condition'.

Meta-selection / CLUMPING THEORY
January 14, 2013, 08:18:32 PM
The recent thread that developed from an earlier post by Juiced91 (Bob the Old Fogey)  and expert comments by Vic and others that ensued, deserves to have its own space because this is a very fertile area of research and study with multiple strike opportunities and suggests there may be characteristics here that make this a smart bet.

@Clumping Theory , ie sub set of Cluster Theory

It is fascinating and very rewarding that some excellent principles have arisen from this thread, and yes I really should thank Juiced91 as well as Vic.

The desire to make a program for long term overview analysis or predictive value in roulette is a red herring here and Gizmo is probably right to suggest the programmer never quit his day job. What is needed is a signal to note temporary imbalances in the very short term beyond a certain level to trigger action. These can be dozens, columns, EC outcomes and wheel and table outcomes.

Again and again we see in roulette the need to deal with the short cycles and temporary skews that can offer easy access and short term profit. Note the recent mention of Holloway playing all three EC positions when triggered.

My thesis is that short cycle gains can be strung together, like pearls on a thread, so as to link islets of opportunity into a consistent winning strategy. There may be clusters of player action, then significant pauses, just as with cycles of outcome data.

Vic has provided us with so many leads here.

The dominant hemisphere and the emergence within that of a seed clumping effect leading to a larger and larger formation as a small cluster, with incremental growth accessed for us see by use of triggers and filters.

Now the short term imbalance can be measured and can be visualised through a program set to monitor the accretion (like grains of sand becoming attached to an underwater magnet) spin by spin. If you can imagine this, and in colour ( for coding), then you can perhaps build a model and test these short cycles within larger cycles, spiraling perhaps in cycles of 37 or less or more.

Given that you can model this, and test repeatedly through live result play data, initially in small samples, then later expanding, you can observe the 'clumping' characteristics, and possibly develop a suitable bet to take advantage of this ongoing phenomenon.

This could be a prototype for formation of a new bet type; one that is interactive and responsive to short cycles, and which consists of a series of short series coups linked together in the formation and eventual decay of a cluster of action energy.

My suggestion would be for the bet overview to consist of three coups with the opportunity to expand and extend if the cluster formation warranted the attention.

Observation is now required on samples using a trial and error methodology.

Will report soon.  XXVV
