Hi guys, among the many details from current upgrade, we got a new Favicon ("favorite icon") for tab pages, bookmarks, etc.

If you don't see it, you may want to "hard refresh" your browser:

QuoteHold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.
Or Hold down Ctrl and press F5.

How to hard refresh your browser and clear your cache

Thanks.

Hello dear friends, we will be upgrading our forum files to the latest version of our forum software during the next few days so if you catch some maintenance downtime it is okay & expected.

This is a mid-level form upgrade since we are refreshing our files to fix several details (i.e. post attachments) while keeping all of our valuable posts/messages data intact.

The board is expected to come back working smoothly and prepared for a couple new additions that need new fields on the database.

Thanks :thumbsup:

Hi guys! Since this is the forum's anniversary month, a technical gift is due ^-^

There are many details to fix to get the board back in full shape. Such as:

- Layout improvements (logo, section images).
- Reactivate our automated e-mailer.
- Post page enhancements (positional attachments, others).
- Revamping the info center (closer to header, site stats).
- Back-end/server improvements such as caching.

And the biggest one: WE ARE GETTING A NEW CHAT ROOM WITH BACCARAT GAME! :cheer:

...If you have any other technical gift you'd like to see implemented, do feel free to express it since there is a good chance to have it implemented this month as I stay home & devoting to improving the board :nod:

Cheers!

Meta-selection / On sleepers being treated as "hot"
July 23, 2019, 05:09:29 PM
On sleepers being treated as "hot"

While sleepers as single numbers may be good to be avoided as a general rule (i.e. bias, AP), numerical groups containing what would be defined as cold/sleeper numbers can and do hit beyond their expectation (i.e. become hot numerical groups).

When you are monitoring such groups to bet you can extrapolate the "hotness" to include cold numbers inside the group, thus treating sleeper numbers as hot by extension.

You are not really betting sleepers per se, but events within your framework of reference having their own timelines

The game is supposed to be only 1-spin long with no memory, hence "sleeper" "warm" and "hot" states can easily be said to be relative (or even flat outright nonexistent!).

I see it's all about their current state within your very own framework of reference. There's no difference when betting non AP.

What difference does it make for a dozen or a column being hot when it contains sleepers, you do bet the location as a whole.

We can actually use sleeper numbers in such a light, under this frame. Why? Because we're not betting on numbers; we're betting on events...

A timeline is an ordered stream of sequential data for an event.

A single numerical stream of spins can be used to generate multiple timelines.

Let's illustrate with a simple event: DOZEN JUMP.

We have three dozens:

Dozen #1 = Numbers 1 to 12.
Dozen #2 = Numbers 13 to 24.
Dozen #3 = Numbers 25 to 36.

Let's use a numerical cycle from a recent Wiesbaden casino table to generate a timeline stream.

[attachimg=1]

We simply write the next dozen spun under the former one.

From #6 to #14 => from Dozen 1 to Dozen 2 => We add 2 under D1.

D1:
2
D2:

D3:

From #14 to #33 => from Dozen 2 to Dozen 3 => We add 3 under D2.

D1:
2
D2:
3
D3:

From #33 to #6 => from Dozen 3 to Dozen 1 => We add 1 under D3.

D1:
2
D2:
3
D3:
1

From #6 to #35 => from Dozen 1 to Dozen 3 => We add 3 under D1.

D1:
2, 3
D2:
3
D3:
1

From #35 to #1 => from Dozen 3 to Dozen 1 => We add 1 under D3.

D1:
2, 3
D2:
3
D3:
1, 1

From #35 to #1 => from Dozen 3 to Dozen 1 => We add 1 under D3.

D1:
2, 3
D2:
3
D3:
1, 1

From #1 to #6 => from Dozen 1 to Dozen 1 => We add 1 under D1.

D1:
2, 3, 1
D2:
3
D3:
1, 1

From #6 to #14 => from Dozen 1 to Dozen 2 => We add 2 under D1.

D1:
2, 3, 1, 2
D2:
3
D3:
1, 1

From #14 to #7 => from Dozen 2 to Dozen 1 => We add 1 under D2.

D1:
2, 3, 1, 2
D2:
3, 1
D3:
1, 1

And so forth for the cycle, adding dozen jumps:

D1:
2, 3, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 3, 3, 1, 2, 3
D2:
3, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1, 1, 1, 3
D3:
1, 1, 1, 3, 2, 2, 3, 3, 2

We can also notice another popular combination of 12-number sets fit for obtaining "3 groups of 12 numbers", namely the Columns:

Column #1: Numbers 4,7,10,13,16,19,22,25,28,31,34.
Column #2: Numbers 2,5,8,11,14,17,20,23,26,29,32,35.
Column #3: Numbers 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36.

Let's use the same procedure to generate another timeline set using columns with the same spins:

From #6 to #14 => from Column 3 to Column 2 => We add 2 under C3.

C1:

C2:

C3:
2

From #14 to #33 => from Column 2 to Column 3 => We add 3 under C2.

C1:

C2:

C3:
2

From #33 to #6 => from Column 3 to Column 3 => We add 3 under C3.

C1:

C2:

C3:
2, 3

From #6 to #35 => from Column 3 to Column 2 => We add 2 under C3.

C1:

C2:

C3:
2, 3, 2

From #35 to #1 => from Column 2 to Column 1 => We add 1 under C2.

C1:

C2:
3, 1
C3:
2, 3, 2

From #1 to #6 => from Column 1 to Column 3 => We add 3 under C1.

C1:

C2:
3, 1
C3:
2, 3, 2

From #6 to #14 => from Column 3 to Column 2 => We add 2 under C3.

C1:

C2:
3, 1
C3:
2, 3, 2, 2

From #14 to #7 => from Column 2 to Column 1 => We add 1 under C2.

C1:

C2:
3, 1, 1
C3:
2, 3, 2, 2

Likewise, so forth for the cycle, adding column jumps:

C1:
3, 1, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 3, 3, 3, 2, 3, 1
C2:
3, 1, 1, 3, 2, 3, 3, 1, 2, 1, 1
C3:
2, 3, 2, 2, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1

As you can see, there is no difference in the procedure.

It is the actual amount of numbers in each set what really matters.

Any set of a certain amount generates roughly the same dynamics across spins, as seen in their timeline.

So, we can use any 3 sets or combination of 12 numbers to generate more timelines with a similar unfolding.

How many combinations should we use to generate such parallel timelines, based on each configuration's uniqueness?

Perhaps 10 simultaneous combinations? Maybe 100  simultaneous combinations? Should we go 1000 combinations of 12-number divisions at the same time?...

There used to be a very hard limit for regular casino players to monitor manually between two roulette spins, but -shifting to nowadays- how many combinations do you think moderns computers can handle concurrently? Hint: an ever-increasing amount as time goes by! Even on commodity hardware.

The time between spins can be used to make an immense amount of computations in modern times. Equivalent to an army of manual players from the past, with the added benefit of removing human errors from note-taking.

When using three full numerical cycles at your disposal for analysis, you certainly can see what's going on in the monitored timelines for your betting events to make an "educated guess" if you wish, regarding their current performance for picking/choosing which one(s) to back.

This is just an arbitrary example. The actual amount of different combinations for three groups of 12 numbers to act as your in dozens is very large. You will have enough to focus on different slices of numerical groups during a -very, very- large amount of sessions.

The underlying event still being the same for all of them: "DOZEN JUMP" (going form a select group of 12 numbers to another group of 12 numbers --or itself, for a jump in the same spot).

Within this event you can permute enough to have a gazillion 12-NUMBER / DOZEN GROUPS for generating separate timelines from which to choose your focus. All of their timelines powered using the same set of numbers spun.

Hope this sheds some light for your understanding on how a single event can generate myriad  "timelines" using the same stream of spun numbers.

Each of them being equally valid (or invalid!) from the dry mathematical point of view, but nonetheless there's nothing preventing you as a player to give "weight" to the ones you deem better & play for a continuation in their current "state of affairs" i.e. a continuation in their currently-displayed set of events.

Meta-selection / BECOMING A MOVING TARGET
July 12, 2019, 07:47:09 PM
This is the last piece of the puzzle to many fellows: Every session a different one.

Betting using "meta systems" so to speak. Built out of "meta patterns" unfolding across spins.

This means betting N amount of timelines for you to choose according to how the game flows in the current state of affairs you are witnessing.

Not one of them is better than the other according to math, but empirical observation places weight to certain configurations vs the others when considering the extra dimension of "time" (as a slice of sequential history in the data).

Yes, they all may go south as you enter betting. Nonetheless, why not choose among the better possible ones? Stiff betting systems are doomed to fail.

We have the technological means to handle massive simultaneous data streams when compared to manual betting. Players from the past didn't have this option. Every little thing that may add to improvements in our game is good to be embraced!

Becoming a moving target in such a way can prove to be one of the very few possible advantages while surfing the data stream, along with proper money management for maximizing wins & minimizing losses to beat the averages.

In the end, as there is no beginning or end to the numerical stream in infinity, we are forced to create our very own frames of reference in order to imprint the characteristics we get to "see" to act upon over time.

Going dynamic vs stiff may be the final key to keep yourself "current" when trying to hold your ground in the overall never-ending goal of beating infinity.

It may be the piece of the puzzle giving your personal betting stream the proper direction while asymptotically going toward the best current configuration, even as we know the best one changes dynamically, hence you should re-calibrate or re-evaluate your current scenario to change with the flow of the numerical stream too.

Our personal struggle is an "averages game".

Chances are we'd never possibly beat infinity but we may beat our own played numerical stream during a satisfactory-enough length to become "winners".

Meta-selection / A recipe for winning the averages
June 29, 2019, 08:30:37 AM
1) Hitting before depleting your progression.
2) Compounding after hitting / winning.
3) Regressing to minimal-unit bet after a progression loss.

Average it out.

#1 is entirely based on your bet selection. It doesn't need to beat the house edge flat betting to infinity, it needs to get you a hit before your session/attack bankroll is exhausted.

#2 achieves winning the most as you enjoy a concentration of hits. When it is "your time" to make a killing, you should really squeeze it. No limit imposed on the wins while on the positive trams whatsoever!

#3 makes you lose the least when facing dispersion. This makes a world of a difference in the averages.  Regressing to the minimal unit makes it harder for the casino to fetch the units you won.

Inter-session money management is a must too. You should have as many minimal-unit bankrolls as possible while having room for increasing your unit. This is achieved by using a MM plan comprised by multiple minimal banks with the front-facing one increasing its value as you compound.

i.e. 75% Money Management plan.

Hello there! The recent announcement of my resignation and "letting go" of the board may come to you as a surprise. As a matter of fact, just a few days ago it wasn't even on the table!

This was a flash agreement picking up a former one with Glen as part of the possible paths for the board.

The big-picture scenario being this:

I've quit my day job & I'm moving forward in this (rather wonderful) "game of life" toward fulfillment by doing what I love.

Programming for the public domain and actually discussing systems/methods is more in line with my inner/personal goals, so I've taken on the opportunity.

My new spaces being developed are PublicDomain.site + BetOnly.site

Our paths are still together for the next five (5) years as I remain the forum's tech guy during this period as per the new agreement.

As I leave  all "forum politics" aside to focus on software development and actual betting-only engagement @ the new sites, productivity comes as a natural byproduct in the form of new releases for our community and the internet at large.

I took this step to begin living a more-enriching life as a result of this move. My wife is supportive of it since my online goal is driven (first & foremost) by sustaining our family. She's happy, I'm happy, our son's happier, the members who want to discuss bet selection & actually see something coming in the form of software surely get to be happier.

Also, members who enjoy the forum "as is" should be happier too since BetSelection.cc basically remains the same it has been posting-wise for some time now with no disruption in sight for the foreseeable future.

Well, just wanted to express my side.

I go back to productivity & coding. As we expand to doing public domain work now, we are poised to be a positive force for enriching more than one life.

May some of you who read this use and enjoy the new software releases & dig our new endeavors/sites.

A balanced, focused & happy,

This is a "protocolar annoucement" regarding forum sale:

Hello everyone.  Here is my official announcement about BetSelection Website and Forum Board.  Short and Simple.  I am making following announcement today as it was released from our counsel which I edited down to this:

"I have sold the Website and Forum, BetSelection to Alrelax (Glen).  Glen transferred the money on Friday to our counsel and it is currently being rerouted to me and my family.  I confirm that, after the confirmation from our counsel.  There is nothing else to post, answer or question regarding the transaction that occurred.  The transaction is subjected to a legal confidentiality agreement and other legal binding terms prohibiting further answering and engagement of Q&A inquiries regarding it.

The entire site is now owned in full without any further monetary obligation by Glen.  I plan to stay on without open forum involvement as Glen's IT and technical employee which he has contracted with me for a period of five years.

I wish everyone well and thank you for your understanding of what was best for my family that Glen made possible".

Signed, Victor/VLS.

Hi guys,

The forum's current state does not reflect my ideal on a place to discuss about bet selection, money management & betting-related topics/material.

I'm pondering what to do about it.

  • We won't close.
  • We won't sell.

...But it doesn't really feel right to let it stay "as is" right now.

What would I prefer to run? A community where:

  • Members actually discuss betting topics only.
  • People treat each other in an amicable/polite fashion.

While we can't really force people to like each other, it is wise to be open to suggestions on how to deal with our current situation.

Yes, we can always reboot the site & start with a new clean slate, but let's hear your suggestions.

Both "inside the box" and "outside the box" approaches welcome.

This is a money management technique aimed at obtaining a free bankroll to play @ the regular 50% compounding rate used by the tools with no stop win.

It has two stages:

1) Free bankroll stage.

From the beginning of the game, you re-invest 100% of your wins back into the main bankroll to increase the betting unit, up to the point of doubling your bank.

This stage is aimed at cutting the exposure time of your own money needed to double your bankroll.

Once you have doubled, you set your initial bankroll apart (plus any other won unit) then begin betting worry-free as you won't lose anything.

From this point onward it's a true free-play session.

2) Fifty percent stage.

Once you have your free bankroll to risk made out of casino money, you can play with a 50% compounding rate knowing it's pure profit.

This stage's aim is obtaining the most units for your profit & lifetime reserve as per:

[attachimg=1]
(Original MM post)

50% of all net wins go back to being re-invested to rise the unit, while the other 50% is split between your profits & lifetime reserve.

There is no stop-win in order to match the objective of making the most out of the tools' positive trams. Your session ends only with your last possible bet. At this point you take your bankrolls' leftover units (adding more when enlarged in value), then it's back to stage #1.

Meta-selection / 98-unit parachute
June 02, 2019, 09:17:36 AM
This parachute differs from the traditional 36-unit parachute in the following points:

  • It begins from the double-street in order to maximize first-cycle gains & "opening" it for regular juicier payouts.
  • Always attains +1 (or more) when hitting.
  • Attaches a straight-up progression toward its continuation to spin #62.
