Victor may ask Ophis for trial of bot and can check whether what was claimed, was true or not.
I suggest Bayes get a trial of the bot

Victor,
My suggestion: make a permanent donation section for the forum's upkeep so that it doesn't become a responsibility of yours only. It is necessary now since there is no paid subscribers. Open donations and its open acknowledgements will lead more members to come forward to help and the best part is, it is voluntary.
Most-excellent idea dear Sumit. It will be taken into consideration. It is voluntary indeed

Where did the list of recent posts at the bottom of the homepage go,
how do we know who's saying what without it.
I'm placing it right above the sections as per Chris' sharp request... In the mean time, please visit:

For the list of recently updated topics

The new skin of the site is perfect
It wasn't a skin, actually a bug as I was "mangling" with our sources to restore functionality back but it got too late :o

Any case, the "as is" refers to ownership and administration, not functionality; we are due to increase on that side

The final resolution for our site is to continue "as is".

Our life continues. What we bring to the scene continues. We can make life in our website with certainty of continuation again.

Also, as things are appeased we can integrate with the other communities better. Software-wise and participation wise.

We keep our openness policy. Everybody is invited to participate, no sites are censored and basically our forum's staff keeps on conducting business as usual, with me on the IT side and keeping the seat as forum owner and administrator.

So dear friends, thank you very much for your support.

We have the opportunity to be the best site we can be for this community to thrive.

Getting our act together again,

Your old-timer friendly admin,
Vic

Actually if the language design were up to me, I could compress it further:

QuoteDo 10
    print "Hello World"

How much is six months of development time worth?
It varies by country and what the programmer agrees to. Over here it is usually a "per project" fee. In other countries it is measured in $/hours.

You should check the status yourself by asking an IT professional from your locality.

Any ideas or comments regarding this are welcome.
My comment is: if you have a clear intention of making it public from the beginning, you can release it open-source from day 1. Even from the building stages.

If you want people to use it, but don't want to disclose the "how to's" you can always make a web application, host it in a secure server and let willing people connect.

If there's money to be made, it's almost certain someone "out there" will show interest :cheer:

We are getting back to normal. It is 5 am and I must go to bed, but rest assured I'm resuming work on the forum.

Wowie guys, it is quite a wonderful thing to see the friends coming together towards our common goal.

We're happily clear with extra contributions left as "insurance" for next month.

Many many thanks again   :rose:

You Rock!

Are you sure this isn't a joke?
This *is* a Joke topic bayes

Esoito is pulling our legs about this:

Refers to: http://betselection.cc/general-discussion/a-$4-41-usd-request-for-our-hosting/

But that other topic isn't an April fool's joke: we were actually short and we actually became open to the general public for real and the few subscriptions left were cutoff.
It's a mixture of true things that happened on the funkier day of the year  :o

Thanks for your willingness to assist dear Sumit  :applause:   It is very valued indeed yet the invoice is generated via paypal.

Hopefully we will have this sorted to be able to continue.

We don't have subscribers as of today. I did the right thing and cancelled the few subscriptions left now we're open.

After the last round of membership cancellations, we're out of paypal to pay the forum's host for exactly $4.41 and the 1st of the month is the payment day.

If someone is able to give $5 towards our hosting, it'll be taken as our last membership payment and stand for a whole month of the betting tool, valued at $30 next month.

The $5 paypal link is this:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64GZQVANB3NLW

March being the last month we featured regular subscriptions, we're opening our doors with re-install.
