A nice democratic decision.
We're the forum eyes now. All of us

Why the shake up ?
Well, there's nothing personal in the decision and in fact this isn't a rushed decision. We've been moving towards the community moderation model for years now. It is only now I'm having the time to program the web engine we need to make this a reality. Also, as we're moving to being a network of sites including services and products, the fair thing is for me to be the staff in charge of website administration. As we all step down to being watchers of the forum, it becomes more efficient too. People don't need to wait for a global moderator to take action. Everybody who sees something that doesn't belong here can initiate the moderating action by means of his/her report.
New moderating features are being rolled-in little by little. We still have to implement a system giving more weight to seasoned members. Community moderation is the true definition of 100% opt-in support. Everybody's in to make a small part that doesn't represent an individual burden, merely reporting when stumbling onto something in a natural fashion, while making spammers and wrong-doers be hesitant to target us as we actually have a thousand eyes watching
...We're implementing a form of Linus Law: "given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow", this is, we're switching from the 'Cathedral pyramid of command' to the more flat/level 'Bazaar' model.
