Victor, with all your software and coding skills, why has the typing lock-ups, freezes issue not been resolved?

It is just as bad as ever.

No use, attempt at fixing it introduce more bugs. Our hope's a re-install from scratch.

That sounds like good news Vic.

[...]

It's worth the effort to try.

Indeed.

BetSelection.cc is "piggybacking" on our software site's server right now.

Our Software's site is subscription-based, so the first bunch of subscribers pay for maintenance, then it's profit. (Unlike making money out of discussion sites, software sites intended to make money are OK)

Off-loading my administrator's duties to mods and members frees me to focus on building great software for everyone in the community to enjoy. The other choice for this transition would have been to simply handle all my admin's powers to another single pair of hands; to be honest, I didn't want us to merely move to have the "new era" for another person to impose a personal will (i.e. the new XYZ admin era). Better for us to make it be the community & staff cooperation era, where members grew mature from past quarrels and police the forum wisely to keep balance.

Hey! 2015 is just a couple days away, so these are my last couple days as a full-blown admin.

Our first open community-council poll is regarding Albalaha's situation.

Hello TCK,

We're shifting Admin's role, not pulling the plug on us (i.e. not shutting us down) :)

This might end up being a more balanced place as a result; instead of every little thing coming to my "admin's plate", it's the community + mods who get to solve things in a more independent & democratic way.

Yes, but a wise man knows when enough is enough!

Sure, that's what makes you wise

It's all opt-in. The only one who can't give up on the forum is me; even if it frees me up from the "$3500 RouletteForum.cc loan-like scenario".

The "hole in the bucket" should I quit would be a "404 not found" error when people visits the site.

It's an attractive option short-term but I have to think long-term; to me this site is part of a trifecta of webs, a family of sites so to speak:

[Gambling] + [Gambling software] + [Software]

We get to open the 3rd site with money from the gambling software site, so it's all interwoven.

I'm not done with my online project, we sure can eventually have the $3500 to spare in order to free the forum from the ads, then we're continuing as a totally independent, free operation with no ties to anybody else.

As it's now it's also a mutually beneficial deal: Steve gets the ads as a guarantee while the $3500 are due, then he gets the RouletteForum.cc site when they are returned, not bad on his side of the deal.

On my side, my benefit derives from mending things with Steve and remaining in good terms with members from the community, that's worth it for me. I'm here to remain, not to vanish.

We're not done yet :)

Hello dear Max,

Please note we do need to keep a figure of wise men across the board.

We don't want to entertain neither the “tyranny of the elite”, nor the “tyranny of the majority”.

We strive to feature a form of middle ground here.

Mods are needed to keep order and -in general- a moderated forum is much better than a non-moderated one.

Public polls are needed to check what people want. Letting regular members have a voice with weight becomes paramount here.

The power to put members in moderation, the power to mute, and other powers should be attributed to the forum's wise men. You sure have demonstrated being wise.

You can insert images by attaching them using the "Choose file" file picker below the post box:

Then you can insert the tag [attachimg=1] where you want the image to appear in your post.

General Discussion / Long live BetSelection comunity!

Originally a personal response, worth sharing to reassure things are better for us.

Quote from: Albalaha on December 10, 2014, 03:07:10 AMI am glad that Victor, our admin here, have carried the forum with the co-operation from all of us despite not earning a penny from this place and hopefully the forum will continue forever like this.

Dear Sumit, there isn't a "BetSelection server" maintenance right now hence there isn't any further need for funding for BetSelection to remain online as usual. This site is piggybacking on BetSoftware.cc's server already, therefore betselection has a guaranteed existence as long as there is an active BetSoftware.cc with subscribers and operating to fulfill the world's gambling coding needs (i.e. presumably forever).

There will always be people studying gambling systems. There will always be a need to have software for such study and of course a demand for automation.

From an objective point of view, an active gambling software site selling related software services has a more solid financial prospect.

BetSelection as a community has various reasons to continue to exist without ever having to bring any dime to the table, for instance:

Being a place for members to post systems they want coded. BetSoftware.cc is focused on software discussion only, system discussion can happen here as usual.

Funneling visitors to BetSoftware.cc. Google and the other search engines pick text/content. A software site has lesser actual content, so this site becomes a part of BetSoftware's operation in the search engine field.

Having an active community where to test coded features.

This last point is becoming more relevant since there are plans for a technology site offering hosted home-grown web services. There's no better advertising for such services than featuring an active online community running on them smoothly.

The future for BetSelection.cc is more solid today than it ever was

We have a business model where BetSelection fits as a passive yet important player. There's simply no valid objective reason to shut our community down; it doesn't represent any burden by now, it is complementary to BetSofware's operation as a place for users to post systems to code, it is also going to assist the technology site down the road for showcasing our 'wares. It is earning its rooftop and place, even without having a direct financial need or goal involved.

Long live our BetSelection space & community! :)

can you make another example
the way you select numbers?
the numbers you play and why?
what bankroll needed?
what progression ?
what stop loss?

explain about the "dynamic version "

Hello dear RF,

There is no set bankroll / progression / Stop-loss. This is just another bet selection for betting a little "here and there", most of the time. It looks for clumping times which inevitably arrive, yet this can be seen more suitable for long sessions or a bot, as a part of a larger pool of systems/selections in game.

The more "dynamic" version is posted at: http://betselection.cc/street-107/(cycle-pairing)-street-wheel-super-zone-4-street-felt-floating-square/

Should these be too slow to enable picks for your taste, try Zones of 3 for an approach prone to having more bets per cycle. Personally, I like Zones of 4 better because I try to monitor "streaky" selections with lesser coverage; I don't mind having to wait for a certain selection to have enabled bets. I only care about them clumping, so I can have "my winning time" and then leave.

We have two Super-Zone 4 formations:

[attachimg=1]

[attachimg=2]

Also one Floating square:

[attachimg=3]

From spins 13 to 24, we bet on any street which would "match" these formations (i.e. we pair them)
#374
First 12 numbers from RouletteFan's sample:

N  Z  R
28
2
13
       1
10
33
       9
15
      30
      27
13
    0

They make the following:

Let's analyze the formations.

The cycle pairing part for this is the same:

1) Track 12 spins (Base cycle).
2) Take note of any formed Zone-4 on the Street-wheel + any formed square on the Street-felt.
3) From spin #13 to #24 (Paired cycle), bet on any street that would form any of the previously realized Super Zone-4 or Floating Square formation.
