Double-street / 123 Line Grind
July 03, 2013, 12:57:53 AM
"Natural" lines. 1-6, 7-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-30, 31-36

Full cycle consists of three (3) spins.

There are two (2) alternating modes.

Mode #1:

When a number is spun, bet the OTHER double-street/line on the spun dozen.

Since there are 3 dozens, you can bet at most 3 double-streets/lines.

If no hit within the 3 spins, change to mode #2.

Mode #2:

When a number is spun, bet the SAME double-street/line the number belongs to.

Since the cycle is at most 3 spins, you can bet at most 3 double-streets/lines.

If no hit within the 3 spins, change to mode #1.

This is a grind because should you chart this flat betting, you'll notice the methods are somewhat "opposite", i.e. when one rocks, the other usually sucks and vice-versa.

Plug progression in at your own taste.

Each website/community has its own personality.

That's because each community chooses its own path. There's the path of anger and there's the path of love [attachimg=1].
If there's anything we need to be recognized for is due to being a lovely, helpful community  :rose:

Helping a fellow community member is an act of love. Sharing knowledge among ourselves is also an act of love. Treating each other with respect too.

This is why nasty remarks regarding other fellow members need to be reported. There's a " Report to moderator" link below every post, you can be certain every report will be acted upon by our community's staff.

...Certainly we the staff can't possibly read every post in the forum 24/7, but all fellow members as a whole do. When you read something that's out of tune with our community's guidelines and spirit, please report.

By treating each other with respect and adorning our pages with camaraderie bearing sincere interested for the common good, we pave the road for attracting and fostering larger amount of positive interaction.

There are sites that condone attacking posts, we don't. Let's foster love.

I don't play a single system.

The times I play for real these days I mostly go "on the hunt", betting what's showing (to my eyes).
Perhaps that's what happens when you've been overexposed...

As to the methods I track, feel free to browse my straight-up space to check out the kind:

Well done Vic /FORUM/ :cheer:  You are doing a great job of supporting the community!
Hopefully "this year" we can be self-supporting via sold programs

(When in the year, that's the mystery LoL)

Meta-selection / Re: Repeater focus
June 29, 2013, 10:27:48 AM
Hi Guys,

I mean selections like the "Super Zones" on repeaters:

But also any other selection you have with single numbers where by considering repeaters only, you save units in the cycle.

If you have a selection you like, you can explore trying it.

You might like it  :)

The magic 22 s  are the rule from now on just as they have been good to me for the past  19 years.
Good on you Nathan. The "tried and true" methods are the keepers.
Almost 2 decades of use for a bet going strong certainly says a lot on itself

(most methods are binned before two months!!)

Meta-selection / Repeater focus
June 28, 2013, 08:22:16 PM
It's interesting to execute regular disk-based selection dumping all "oners" and focusing only on 2+ shows.

Some selections such as "super zones" are consistently showing with them, plenty of times saving units for the cycle.

The repeater-only selections have the advantage of playing what's showing, always avoiding sleepers.

Like I said, an interesting one to try.

Cheers!

P.S: host is cleared by now, even with some left towards next month

Due to the recent wave of "silent spamming", we have implemented an anti-spam measure affecting the ability to add websites to members' signatures and profiles.

Now each of the submissions must be posted publicly.

This is great since the requester can have initial traffic and -more importantly- the process is transparent and the community can have a say on the sites being proposed and approved.

Off-topic / New anti-spam measures
June 27, 2013, 03:04:25 AM
It seems there is a new wave of spammers.

They are doing "passive spamming", which basically it means to paid humans to break "captcha codes" in order to infiltrate, then putting their websites on signatures and profile fields with the sole purpose of staying undetected for as long as possible hoping search engines will pick their links prior to their deletion.

Some measures such as having to ask for approval for having links in signature are going to be in place.

The problem with passive spammers is they aren't noticed as easily, hence we must hit them right where they are trying to (ab)use us to fool the search engines. Profile fields and signatures.

For fair users it will only mean to contact staff to approve the site(s) wanted in your signature and/or coping with enhanced captchas.

Also please report any unusual PM you might receive (trademark of silent spammers too).

Spammers need to be eradicated, with zero tolerance in order to keep our community clean.

On behalf of one of the members messaging me:

YOU, THE MEMBERS, HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW A DECENT PROVIDER FOR FORUM WITH DOMAIN CAN TAKE 100/150 EACH YEAR FOR THE SERVICE.

And on behalf of me:

For the N'th time... I'm not and I don't deserve the implications of me actually taking hundreds upon hundreds of dollars each month and hiring a $0.50/mo shared server cramming us along with 10,000+ sites  :o .
Do we even run?  :D   :D

P.S.
It's all good "S", I know your message is good-meaning, but it's the wording mate, the WORDING!!

Same for you "M".

Again, it's all good guys. I just feel like I don't deserve to be told "it's wrong" when I explicitly stated it was for the forum and not for me and the proposed price for the consulting/coding were fivers.
Now I'll just do some private works and give silently. Thread's already gone, hope we can go on, always better :)

Quote from: Chrisbis on June 27, 2013, 12:10:59 AMCould we back to having a discussion about advertising again then?

I'll try to retake coding the framework for next month. It is way more advantageous for the community than ads and can finally mean a sustainable business outlet to sponsor further development for our place. Opening a market for the many coders in the community, creating healthy competition and a tasty "et cetera".

The main goal is to ultimately become the standard software for tracking and betting (pretty much like RX is today), but being open i.e. open formats, openly sharing the program's source code, open interaction protocols so other programmers can easily re-use what's already coded for the framework and so on.

The potential to become the standard is there. (As usual, the "limp" is the time :-X but there we go, there we go...)
